FAQ 021: My reports are not showing up in the “Available Reports” list in the Runtime Management Console and the State says “Project is not running”. There is nothing shown in the Project Control and I’m not able to select the project there.

There are typically two reasons for this:

Check the license status in Dream Report Studio, Help > About Dream Report. If the license is invalid, Dream Report will not start. If you have an expired temporary license file in the License folder of Dream Report, rename or move that file.

Check the database connectivity settings in the Project Settings->Database Definition. If the Runtime Engine (RTM.exe) cannot connect to the database, the project will not start.
