The Dream Report email engine uses SMTP protocol. By default, if the SSL checkbox in the report email settings is unchecked, port 25 is used.

With SSL option checked, DR uses port 645 for sending emails. Also, once the SSL option has been selected, DR can determine if the TLS required and switches to TLS mode automatically. The default port for TLS is 587.

If you need to use a specific TCP/IP port, you can add the port number to the server address after “:” symbol. (e.g. smtp.gmail.com:5)
